World Sickle Cell Day
This initiative strengthens lifesaving blood supply and bone marrow infrastructure while increasing awareness and donor registry participation.
Providing education efforts encourage community members to register as donors in June. Blood donations provide essential, lifesaving transfusions that reduce pain crises, prevent strokes, manage severe symptoms, and decrease hospital stays. Bone marrow is the only potential cure for Sickle Cell Disease

National Sickle Cell Awareness Month

Time: 3-8 pm
September is dedicated to raise public awareness, advancing treatments, and supporting those affected by Sickle Cell Disease.
This event raise funds to strengthens community support networks, reduces stigma, and promotes early intervention and disease education and awareness.
